EMM was founded by individuals who hold a deep-rooted passion for Marathi culture and traditions. It was established with the goal of maintaining and nurturing a connection to Marathi heritage for those living abroad due to work, education, or other reasons. EMM is associated with more than 700 members alone in Eindhoven. The volunteers and events organized get attendance from all over the Netherlands and outside the area.
EMM organizes traditional Marathi festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi and Gudi Padwa with authentic rituals and celebrations. These events serve as a way to bring the community together and celebrate our shared heritage.
EMM hosts cultural programs that include music, dance, drama, and literature, showcasing the rich artistic traditions of Maharashtra.
EMM’s educational programs aim to teach Marathi language, literature, and history to both adults and children. They offer classes, workshops, and seminars to help members of the community stay connected with their cultural background.
