About US

Bengali language and people are the sweetest in the world. With a vast history, lasting from ancient Bharat to modern India, Bengal has provided many things from coal mines to National heroes like Subhashchandra Bose, Rabindranath Tagore, Satyjeet Ray. Started in 2015, Bonghoven is a community which is working for celebrating Bengal cultures and legends in the Netherlands to bring all Bengali and other Indians together while exhibiting the beauty of Bengal culture to all.

Bonghoven hosts vibrant celebrations of key Bengali festivals like Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, and Poila Boishakh (Bengali New Year) in the Netherlands. Attendees experience the beauty of Bengali traditions and festivities, making them feel connected to their roots, no matter the distance.

To showcase the richness of Bengali culture, Bonghoven organizes cultural events that feature dance, music, and poetry recitations inspired by legends like Rabindranath Tagore and Satyajit Ray.
